Bakuchiol A great alternative to vitamin A (retinoids) for those who have difficulty tolerating vitamin A formulations. Both bakuchiol and retinol can stimulate the production of collagen, reduce inflammation, and reduce hyperpigmentation, although they do this via different pathways. Bakuchiol has the added benefits of being a potent antioxidant and can inhibit the breakdown of collagen and elastin within the skin.

Ultra-Calming Lipid Complex (blackcurrant seed oil and balloon vine extract) A highly effective skin soothing botanical complex designed to alleviate stressed, sensitive, and irritated skin. It can reduce skin redness, regenerate damaged ageing skin, support wound healing, and protect the skin barrier from environmental aggression.

Prickly pear seed oil Containing a high content of linoleic acid, prickly pear seed oil hydrates the skin and prevents water loss. It also reduces skin redness and calms a compromised skin barrier. It is an antioxidant, and it promotes wound healing and reduces P.acnes bacteria that are responsible for acne breakouts. Prickly pear sewed oil also contains high levels of beta-sitosterol that stimulates the skin to increase its own natural hyaluronic acid production for a plumper and more youthful looking skin.

Marula oil Marula oil is a beneficial anti-ageing ingredient that can reduce the breakdown of collagen and elastin, minimising the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of skin elasticity. Rich in essential fatty acids, marula oil offers antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits to the skin, leaving it calmed and protected from environmental aggression.

Argan oil A soothing and nourishing antioxidant oil that promotes healing. It softens and protects the skin whilst reducing the appearance of wrinkles, scars and dryness.

Bisabolol A botanical ingredient derived from chamomile that acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory to help soothe and calm irritated skin.

Squalane Squalane promotes barrier repair and enhances the penetration of active ingredients. It reduces the appearance of dry skin and helps to address the symptoms of eczema and dermatitis. It is a powerful skin moisturiser that leaves the skin hydrated and protected.

Meadowfoam oil This non-comedogenic botanical oil boosts antioxidant defences in the skin. Studies have shown this oil can inhibit collagen destroying enzymes making it ideal for anti-ageing. Meadowfoam oil closely resembles human sebum to deeply moisturise, aid in ingredient penetration and protect the barrier from moisture loss.
